The chi, the energy of the woods is there to be touched and entered into when we are there. When I am able to enter it, it has the same affect that a vacation has, it pulls me away from the other happenings in my life, the issues that focus me during the day. It allows me to just center on the moment, on the energy that surrounds me and enters me. This was my experience this morning. The birds that sang, the chipmunk that scurried through the underbrush, the breezes, the tree that I rested against. This energy swirls around and through and actually is me. We aren’t separate. We really are one. It’s nice.
