Poems

June 27 2018

The Earth is our temperate womb

Nutritious placenta grows in her roots

A soft soothing lullaby

Is carried through the sky

From the source

With the breeze

Distant yet familiar

With help from the trees

Her blanket of clouds

Will bring you sleep

And when the time comes

Let her weep.

Her rainy tears are shed for you

Like any mother,

She has feelings too.
